My wife and I have owned this car for 15 years, but it's finally time to say goodbye to our little convertible. We have all receipts and bills for that period, so the history is well documented. To our slight shame, this car was forgotten when we moved house in 2015 and stayed in a private secure garage until 2022 when we finally got it back on the road. So the car is almost a barn find! That exercise did require some expenditure, including: 31/05/2022 - 1180 pounds - new wheel bearing, 3 x ball joints, 2 x track rod ends, battery, fuel pump, exhaust down pipe, 28/06/2022 - 164 pounds - new starter motor 09/09/2022 - 225 pounds - new thermostat, 19/10/2024 - 599 pounds - new battery, fuel pump, wiper blades The head gasket was replaced on 07/02/2011 at 56370 miles. But the car is overheating and we suspect the head gasket needs replacing. However the future buyer will need to make their own judgement about that. The car is in fair condition with little rust aside from a small area on the boot lid and inside the wheel arches. There are some scuff marks on the bumpers but otherwise no panel damage. The car has never been involved in an accident. It starts and drives and has an MoT until 17th October 2025. Insurance is only 13 a month and car tax 25 a month. A great little project for its new owner.
