Description
2010 Volvo S40 - 1.6 Diesel - Manual - 133K Miles - Cheap road tax - 10 Month MOT
Runs and drives great, recent full service + brake discs & pads replaced.
Bodywork could be better, notable dent in front passenger side door + scratches here and there but overall nothing too bad.
Will easily get 45+ MPG if driven sensibly + cheap to tax so should be fairly cheap to run.
In general it's quite a nice car to be in, seats are very comfortable, sound deadening is a cut above your standard little car with Volvo being a bit more of a premium brand.
Has cruise control, rear parking sensors, automatic power-folding mirrors and all 4 windows are electric!
Stereo is decent (CD Player + Good quality speakers) but obviously a bit basic nowadays. It does have bluetooth so modern phones can still be connected for hands-free calling at least!
Good size boot for a small saloon and the rear seats split fold down so it's quite practical.
Volvo's have a reputation for being very safe and on the more reliable side so hopefully should be a nice little run-around for someone.
Service history is unfortunately lacking on paper. Car has had a full service done in my ownership, (Oil + Filter, air filter, cabin air filter, fuel filter).
General mechanical condition of the car suggests it's been reasonably well looked after for most of it's life but unfortunately I do not have much on paper to back that assumption up.
