1996 W202 C230 Kompressor 4 door Manual. 81000 miles. MOT till November. Private plate included. Been owned by the same couple for the past 26 years, it's now being sold as they only need one car. First registered in Norwich in 1996 as N881LRT. I believe it's rare to find this engine with a manual transmission. There are a few age related marks, scuffs, very small patches of rust around the boot release button and sunroof, but is a very solid car with a VERY good MOT history. Engine is smooth, drives without any knocks or bangs. Interior is clean, Sony 10CD changer in boot with 5 cassette changer, Sony head unit, nice grey leather with carbon trim, unfortunately there is a small tear in the drivers bolster. Electric drivers seat, electric mirrors and 4 electric windows. Original Mercedes first aid kit, Mercedes Floor mats and Mercedes tools in boot. Ariel still raises up and down and the sunroof works nicely. Alloys could do with a refurb, but front tyres are recent, rears have decent tread. There is a different ignition key to the main transponder - a common problem on the W202 where the ignition barrel fails, so it has been replaced. I also believe the fuel gauge is intermittent. The car has full service history. I have taken the car myself to Festival of the Unexceptional in 2021, it is comfortable and smooth to drive but will pick up speed effortlessly when needed.
