This 2000 Defender TD5 has been a labour of love and a new house purchase forces sale of what we thought would be a car that was with us for life. Reg will be removed from car and it will go back to V682HUT. The car has had a full restoration, including full paint, galv chassis updated galv bulkhead, a new wings, bonnet, headlights, wheels, doors inc a galv rear door, new carpet, new steps side and rear, optimal hinges on the doors and hinges, reverse camera/rear number plate led light, later rear Puma style seats fitted with all factory fittings, its got Fox dampers which make it handle like a modern car - just eats potholes, its got new wheels and tyres, new rear wheel carrier, new WIPAC lights all round, carplay head unit, FOCAL speakers throughout, new heated windscreen, heated front seats. New Genuine headliner with updated black factory trim and matching sun visors. Its had all new wiper motors, cables and arms, upgraded dash pod holder, and the later td5 dash and buttons all wired in nice and neatly with the correct clips and wires. New discs and pads all round. We changed the cylinder head as the original cracked, its has a genuine waterpump, belt, thermostat, new coolant, clutch slave, clutch, flywheel, all new bolts into the chassis in stainless, new gearbox and engine mounts, the list goes on and on - there will be more I cant remember.
