This is our second Smart For2 convertible (451) and we are only selling it as we are going electric. This car is fun to drive with or without the roof down which is operated electrically so, with no effort. For new to smart car drivers, I would describe it as like a "normal" car with the back seats missing. The boot is pretty usable and it feels pretty spacious in the front (and only) seats as well. Apple CarPlay is a game changer if you have an iPhone, as maps, music, podcasts, audiobooks all become accessible at the touch of a button. We particularly like the "avoid motorways" button if we're not in a rush and we have the roof down. This car is clearly designed for round town driving but it is fine on fast roads and motorways too. It easily gets up to speed for 70mph roads and is really good with fuel. This also means that it is ULEZ friendly and the road tax is only 20 per year!
