A 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0 Litre finished in black with a grey leather interior in very good original condition. It passed the mot on 20th March with only 2 advisories, the high level brake light [now fixed] and worn front anti-roll bar bushes [new links and bushes now fitted]. Everything else on the car is in very good condition, it has never had a towbar fitted and therefore has had an easy life. Everything works as it should, heater is hot, A/C is cold, the 4 wheel drive system is all working as it should. The interior is good with only a small split to the side of the drivers seat. The headlining is good and there are 4 rubber floor mats and one in the boot. It has a spare wheel and the original jack, wheel brace and locking wheel nut key. All the tyres are good with plenty of tread on them. The radio works with the aerial going up and down and I have 2 keys with key fobs which work the central locking. There are a few age related marks to the paintwork including a small dent on top of the drivers side front wing, but the overall condition is very good and the paint has a good deep shine to it. I bought the car last September from a London solicitor who kept it at his weekend home in Lincolnshire and hardly used it, looking at the mot history, it has only done 3000 miles in the last 5 years. When I bought the car it had a blown head gasket and had overheated causing engine damage so I have fitted a replacement engine of similar mileage. The engine has been serviced with new plugs, oil, and oil and air filters. I have also changed the transmission fluid and filter. It also has a new battery.
