A stylish example of this, the iconic MX-5, the NC model. It benefits from a Bose sound system, 6CD music player, phone integration, with air conditioning for the hot days and heated leather seats for the colder days, plus reversing sensors - for those dark nights when the hood is up and rear visibility's not so good. The automatic gearbox makes the car so easy to drive, both for general motoring and for long distance touring, but, with the paddle changers on the steering wheel and the manual stick gear change option, spirited driving is still on the cards when desired. Never in the wrong gear, no missed changes and smooth driving. It's the best of both worlds. We've had this lovely car for seven years now, used it as our 'fun' car and enjoyed tours around the UK and Europe in it. Circumstances dictate that now is the time for it to go to its next lucky owner. On the practical front, it's been under-sealed and had a recent oil and filter change.
