For sale a good solid truck that's been no trouble at all for the last nearly 6 years. This was bought as a work truck to pick up materials and for a bit of fun, but ultimately hasn't been used enough to keep. It's a 200 tdi with just under 173k miles that drives really well with a useful sized flat bed of 1.6m x 2.2m. It's got aluminium dropsides and a ply lined flat bed. It's a bit tatty inside where a previous owner has put additional sound deadening around the transmission tunnel and the fancy stereo has been disconnected because it was draining the battery. The paintwork is quite patchy but I like it - it's got good character and overall the outside looks great. Rust is starting to show around the front air vents The main chassis rails were welded up properly last year with 2 long sections that replaced various small patches that were done over the years. This was done by an excellent welder (the hotworks Tring) who restores classic cars. The new sections were not done seamlessly because it is a work truck and we felt it was more honest to let future owners see what they were getting. Pictures attached. The chassis should now be fine for years to come. The repairs have been waxoiled and painted inside and out. It's got a towbar and hitch and plenty of power should you want to tow anything.
