I always wondered how someone sells a car they love - and usually that is because of house projects. Well - here I am. For sale is my pride and joy Audi R8. The vehicle has been mine for 4 years and loved absolutely every minute of it. The vehicle is a well specced 2008 model and has the following options: Bang and Olufsen Sound System Alcantara headlining Carbon sigma side blades Carbon interior pack Parking sensors front and rear Magride (more on that later) The vehicle has full Audi History and the next service (oil and filter) is due in July this year. Certainly not on mileage but time (just have a look at the MOT system for the mileage history). Plenty of paperwork for the car - and repairs carried out to assist the new owner for future, including: Mag ride replaced with BC Racing Gold shock absorbers and Springs - and correctly deleted with corresponding coding and resistors. These optional items WILL fail and cost 1700 each. Oil cooler replaced on the vehicle circa 2 years ago NSF Radiator replaced with newer uprated full ally item The car also not so long back had a full set of Michellin PS2's on the car at circa 1600 pounds As you can see, the vehicle isn't standard, and some will love, some may not: Alloys powder coated frozen bronze Rear engine cover carbon covered Custom full size carbon wing, with full length LED strip And.. a 2500 switchable via fob topgear exhaust system with optional titanium exhaust tips. Sounds PHENOMENAL! The car has never let me down, a beautiful car - but it isn't a garage queen. It's there to be used and loved. I'll be so sad to see it go - but needs must. Bad points (as I like to be transparent) Brakes corroded and discs nearing the end of life - they will clean up from photos but this is due to no recent use. Pads are ok though. Odd corrosion blemish - again it is 17 years old Odd blemish/stonechip - as above It drives perfectly - and the R-Tronic gearbox imho trumps manual when driven correctly. The vehicle is advertised elsewhere, and may sell elsewhere. The vehicle is available for viewing Monday to Saturday in my work hours. I am happy to drive the vehicle for a prospective buyer, But until the money is in my bank via bank transfer, no one else is driving her. I am open to reasonable negotiation - but if it doesn't start with a 3, don't waste mine or your time. Thanks for viewing, and look forward to meet you! Liam
