Description
Color: Blue with white roof
Ownership History:
Two keepers - myself since 2020, and previously owned from new by the RNLI (Royal National Lifeboat Institution).
Vehicle History:
Stationed at Barry Lifeboat Station in Wales as a flood rescue vehicle (hence never went in salt water).
Meticulously maintained by the RNLI, serviced every 6 months and even down to being cleaned after every use. Maintenance records are not in the log book, as the RNLI carry out work on their vehicles in-house, but can be verified by contacting Barry Station.
Since my ownership, the car has been serviced yearly by Land Rover specialists with no expense spared.
MOT until July 2025
Features:
Wheels & Tyres - Toyo Open Country mud-terrain tyres on white steel wheels
Audio & Tech - Aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth and DAB, 9" screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reversing camera, cubby-box subwoofer. Original LR head unit can be included.
Interior - Denim twill trim, custom-fit Rhino boot liner, air-conditioning.
Exterior - Front light guards, mantec snorkel, height-adjustable rear towbar, front wing-top chequer plate, and DBX LH-wing-top AC vent cover and a snow-cowl vent cover for the winter months. Full-length Land Rover expedition roof rack and rear ladder (Currently removed but can be included at request.).
Additional Equipment from RNLI - Warn winch, rear spot/ work lights (since upgraded from J.W.Speaker units photographed to ltptrz units; old units included), front J.W.Speaker spot lights, PA system (with siren and disconnected blue light wiring), full interior lights, dual battery setup for auxiliary equipment, CB radio wiring and aerial.
Underbody Care: Regularly maintained, latest Lanoguard application this year.
Recent Maintenance: November 2024 service, which included an EGR valve replacement and fitting of solid rear drive shafts.
Bad Parts to Note:
The roof rack and ladder, if included, need to be stripped and repainted due to rusting (which is seemingly common on these racks).
The side steps are also showing signs of rust, so could also do with being stripped and repainted.
Rear dampers would benefit from the bushings being replaced at some point (not urgent but worth noting).
