Reluctant sale of our Mondeo, same family owned for nearly 16 years. Has been an excellent car and we've completed 110k of the 155k total miles. It comes with a large folder of service history and bills. My Dad looked after the car almost entirely himself, being an ex-professional mechanic. If the car needed something doing, it was done. In 2021-2022 the car received a lot of major servicing including reconditioned injectors, reconditioned turbo, new actuator, and a new egr valve. It also had a clutch within the last 25-30k, so all of the above is done ready for plenty more miles. The air con works and I fitted a full black leather Ghia X interior myself last year, which is a lovely upgrade. 95% of the time it's run on premium diesel and always returns 51-52 mpg. The car has some light damage to the near side rear door thanks to my neighbour last year. Insurance paid out and I kept it as a Cat N, but after looking for 6 months, I can't find a colour matched door anywhere and it's not financially worth paying for a body shop repair. It's perfectly usable and many people would just keep driving it as is, but that's not me. We have now bought another car, so sadly the Mondeo needs to go now due to lack of space. It has 3 months MOT left but will need a rear wheel bearing before the next ticket. Overall, the car is in well above average condition for 20 years old and would be an ideal big, cheap estate for someone. It is priced fairly to sell, but I will listen to no-hassle, sensible offers.
