Description

Here we have Mo, my beloved Landcrab Ordered in April 1969 and registered in May 1969 she was with her original keeper until 1997. She then had two keepers and I purchased her in November 2006. She was a daily driver and in my ownership I've covered about 24,000 miles In July 2023, I was driving when she blew a cylinder head gasket. Ill health meant I couldn't repair it so I got a Mobile Mechanic. He managed to shear a head bolt. New set ordered and he returned in October 2023 to finish the job. In November, I took her out to get petrol and the head gasket blew again. Pulling out of the petrol station, the clutch went and she has been parked undercover ever since I have been told by the doctor that I must not attempt any work on it, so sadly she's offered for sale Her engine is partially dismantled so she needs trailering away and as I am in a wheelchair, I am not able to help with pushing her out of her current parking space Her floor and sills were repaired a few years ago however her front wings could do with attention and there are scabby bits around the rear wheel arches Other known faults: Steering rack, noisy but functional I haven't been able to ascertain the clutch fault. A new clutch was fitted by a classic car restorer in 2020 I can't tell if the brakes have seized on, but she has been parked in gear without the handbrake applied She was 'professionally' resprayed a few years ago, and they made a real mess of it, mixing paints and causing a reaction. All that paint was removed and she currently is rattle can painted from bare metal. She needs a respray I have much paperwork for her, including original order and original bill of sale The photos are the best I can get from my wheelchair Overall, she is not in that bad condition to my knowledge I am open to offers but no silly bids
