Description
MX-5 2.0 Sport. 123100 miles. MOT 3rd September 2025. Good condition for the age. Some minor marks here and there.
Good quality welding completed to sills in August 2024. This car has also recently had a replacement window switch, which is a common fault for these. The convertible roof is in good condition. At the last main service the car also received a replacement auxiliary belt, alongside all filters, oil and spark plugs. The oil has also been replaced again in the interim.
Overall, this is a good example of an NC1 MX-5.
The radio is aftermarket, with Bluetooth and USB input. The car has been lowered a little, seemingly with dealer fitment lowering springs and Biltein shock absorbers. This is a common and necessary thing to do with these cars.
I bought this vehicle as it is the specification that is most desirable. I also bought it for summer fun with the roof down. After a few years I have to acknowledge that I am not using it very much due to increased work demands. I also now need a larger weekend car anyway, my current hobby requires more kit than the MX-5 can carry!
