Grey 1981 Reliant Scimitar GTC 2.8L V6 Cologne (Soft & Hard Top), 56,000 miles, Tax\MOT Exempt. 4 Speed Manual with Overdrive. Unfortunately that time has come, my dad's lovely (soon to be again) Scimi is going up for sale. He's loved this car and is struggling with letting go but he no longer has the health to work on it. The car was put into dry storage 5/6 years ago running and driving well, but was taken out a year ago (storage closed) and has sat since. Bodywork showing cracking/bubbling typical to these fibreglass cars as shown in the photos. The engine runs well but would benefit from a brake/clutch service to get roadworthy and new air filter. Had a stainless steel exhaust fitted around 2018. Had a full respray to the current colour and brand new windscreen around 2019. Has Wolf-race wheels with new tyres fitted around 2018. Bad bits: Bodywork needs work due to cracking. Interior needs part reassembly and a good clean. Benefit from a new battery. Gauges worked when stored but have since stopped, may need fuses/investigation. All lights worked when stored but also have since stopped working in areas, may need fuses/investigation. Both doors need alignment to close/open properly as they have dropped. Due to points above the car will need to be trailered (I have access to a local company that can deliver nationwide for a further fee).
