Description

Mercedes E-Class Coupe E400 AMG line, 4WD, white with black details, 20" wheels. High spec and very quick vehicle that is fantastic to drive. Relatively low mileage for a Mercedes Benz. It has a Burmester sound system and Apple Car Play, Panoramic glass sunroof and fully electric seats. Interior is 2 tone leather and a very comfortable place to sit on long journeys. Vehicle has just had an 'A' interval service at Mercedes Benz in South Wales. Has also completed a 'B' interval service last year while in our ownership. Owned by my father for 2 years, however ill health is forcing a sale. Was used for travelling back and forth to Liverpool for work in comfort. Vehicle was Cat-S registered before my fathers ownership however detailed pictures were shown when it was bought showing the damage and work carried out, with repairs being done to a high standard by an approved Mercedes repair agent. Having driven it for the last few months, a few bad points I would fix if I decided to keep the car: - Some stone chips, to be expected given the age and mainly motorway driving it has done since my father has owned it - Very slow 'slow puncture' on the drivers side rear which triggers the tyre pressure warning system after a few weeks, and rims could do with a refurb. The diamond cut bits look a bit tired and some lacquer is peeling off - Front discs give a bit of feedback when breaking heavily so discs will probably need replacing, doesnt appear to affect breaking performance noticeably but is a bit annoying - A piece on the underside of the driver side wiper arm appears to have recently lost / snapped a clip and hangs down to touch the windscreen. Enquired with MB about the cost of a replacement plastic bit but its a whole wiper arm from them at around 150 gbp. Havent done any investigation yet but I'm sure an item from Autodoc would be a bit more economically priced! Car has been priced with the above in mind. Its not my primary vehicle at the moment but I do drive it a few times a week so mileage will increase slowly. If I do get around to fixing any of the above before it sells I will reflect that in the description and the price.
