I have owned five E46 cabriolets in my time, including from new. Unfortunately, I now need to make space for cars more suited to teenagers! This is a manual gearbox version with pretty much every option and in excellent condition inside and out - I am keeping the SMG because my partner prefers driving it, especially in auto mode (madness, in my opinion!). I have only owned the car for three years but had intended to keep it for the long term (having always hankered after the carbon black) so, upon purchase, I spent c.15k on a thorough spruce up (I have all the receipts - everything from rear diff, shocks / suspension, battery, subframe overhaul, paintwork where required - OEM wherever possible). I also fitted a modern head unit for connectivity (I have the OEM if you want to refit - it's a straight swap) and further recent work has been a full gearbox refurb and new alternator (a further c.4k). MOT until April 2026. Car comes with a hardtop (not in photos as stored with local garage currently) which is in perfect working order with all the lights, trim and clamps as you would expect. In summary, a lot of work has been done to an already good car - this is a wonderful M3 that I almost enjoy looking at as much as driving.
