LandRover Discovery 2, V8 Japanese import, 4.0 petrol Automatic. This is an excellent example of a Discovery 2, it is mechanically sound and in excellent cosmetic condition. As it's an import it hasn't ever been welded and doesn't need any, the usual discovery 2 issue areas are perfect, the sills, inner wings and bulkhead are totally solid, the chassis has been treated and is solid. I've owned it several years now and had lots of work done, New rear Dunlop bags and old man emu shocks, new roof liner, uprated stainless exhaust (sounds lovely, but nice an quiet at speed on the motorway) powder coated wheels, graphics, new genuine plastic wheel arches, full service including gearbox , transfer and axels, aircon gassed. It has had lots of professional paintwork where required, including the roof painted black. It had head gaskets replaced at 95k, I've used it to tow my 26ft caravan for hundreds of miles, never missed a beat. As an import it is a high spec with full black heated electric seats, rear air conditioning, and entertainment. This is my personal car but we do have a small independent Landrover garage and we all agree this is one of the nicest Discos we look after. (It's for sale as I'm building a defender and need to free up some funds.)
