Sold new by a dealership in Exeter in 2011 and used by first keeper mainly for business travel for 3 years (approx. 80k miles). They chose pretty much every optional extra that was available - cruise control, heated front seats, rear screens with Bluetooth headsets, built-in booster seats, reversing camera, retractable dog guard, and loads more. This V70 has a manual gearbox with 6 forward speeds, and gets close to 50 mpg fuel consumption due to the 1.6 D2 4-cylinder diesel engine. It's so comfortable to drive, even on long journeys. Used by my family since 2014 (when I put on a private plate) and well looked after since. Has a full service history, with the last one being at 215k miles in July 2024. Cam belt changed at 95k (2015) and 176k (2020) given 87.5k interval manufacturer recommendation. Clutch replaced at 115k (2016). Discs and pads are new on the front (March) and about a year old on the back (April 2024). Wheels aligned in March. Continental tyres all round. Tax is only 35 pounds per year. MOT valid until August, with only 1 advisory last time. Front seatbelts changed a few years ago by Gloucester Volvo due to recall. Start/stop hasn't worked for a while (as when auxiliary battery is replaced, software apparently needs updating) but this is probably why the engine has lasted so well. Tailgate opens with button in car or on fob but not with tailgate button. 12V socket in boot doesn't work. Other than that, everything else works as expected! Taxed and insured so can be test driven.
