Description
Here's my manual Skoda Superb 2.0tdi estate for sale. Bought as a stopgap early last year as my van was written off (not my fault!) and my new job means working from home so no longer needed as we have another car and I can walk to town easily.
I've tried to show all the flaws in the photos as it's certainly not perfect, but hopefully my description is at least honest. It has all the usual supermarket type dings and quite a few scratches, but the biggest one is the front bumper as shown in the photo. Also hard to photograph, but there's a slight crease in the bonnet where it looks like someone has closed it with something left under it. I have priced the car to reflect these issues.
It was serviced and had a new cambelt, water pump, and crank seal in late August 2024 as I thought I'd be keeping it for my job. Had front brakes done as well as was advised they were getting worn.
No long term service history, but it had been serviced when I bought it and I had one done soon after just to be safe, along with a new air conditioning radiator which had leaked, and a new AGM battery.
Only faults it has/had are a very occasional misfire which my mechanic solved with some diesel cleaner and it appears to be OK now, though that was only a couple of months ago. Also never been able to get the cruise to work and mechanic reckons it's down to a sensor at the front. Not fixed as I never use cruise control.
MOT until December 2026 which brought up suspension faults so both sides have been repaired and is now advisory free.
Has all the usual convenience bits such as automatic lights and rain sensor, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto, automatic parking brake and hill-hold, dual-zone climate control. Has optional 18 inch alloy wheels which means it also has a full size spare wheel. Also comes with detachable towbar with 13 pin electrics. Not used, but previous owner had a bike rack attached I believe.
Drives very nicely and is very economical with road tax of only 20 per year.
