We bought this car in December 2021, as a shopping trolley to replace the previous shopping trolley. We keep them for three years before changing. This car has been so good, we decided to keep it another three years. A week after replacing the clutch (14th Jan '25 at 74,687 miles), a family crisis forced us to start looking for another vehicle for regular motorway use. Sigh. This Hyundai i10 is clean, has been reliable during the 20,000 miles we've done in it, comfortable and economical. It has been well maintained at our local garage for which we have all the invoices for works done and parts replaced when necessary. Front tyres are approx 50% worn, back tyres are approx 25% worn. We have MOT certificates Both front brake discs were replaced at 59,079 miles; Oct '22. Both rear brake discs were replaced at 67,645 miles; Dec '23. Fan belt replaced at 64,527 miles; Jun '23, when the pulleys were also checked. Front suspension lower arms were replaced at 67,645 miles; Dec '23. Engine oil and oil filter were changed at 74,000 miles at 10,000 mile intervals. Road tax was 30 quid a year but went right up to 35 quid a year this April. It's so easy to park, has been a superb car and we're sad to see it go.
