I have owned more than 80 cars during the past 40 years or so and this is certainly one of the most impressive. I bought it last year to travel extensively in the UK for my final role in business. It consistently returned over 30mpg (500 mile range) yet had the effortless performance (0-60 in 5 secs if required!) I wanted from the biturbo V8. Effectively being a two door S Class, the 10,000 miles I have covered have been enjoyed in great comfort and near silence. The 7 speed gearbox is quite incredible. I collected the car fully serviced (including gearbox oil change) and polished and it remains unmarked today. I have had a front ABS sensor fail, so had both replaced by my Mercedes specialist and a new pair of Michelin Pilot Sports fitted to the rear. As you would expect, the standard specification is very high but the following options were also selected.Obsidian black, Beige leather, reversing camera, 20" AMG alloy wheels, Adaptive lighting, black ash wood (including steering wheel), tyre pressure warning system. Going into retirement, I need to reduce my collection of cars. This one has served its purpose with flying colours and is now surplus to requirements. The original '14' plate will be restored prior to sale.
