It is fitted it this way so that you have always got access to all of the kitchen and cupboards and doors whether the beds are made up or not. This also creates more storage space. For travelling with 2 people I have always removed the rear seat. This allows for a really good amount of space in the cabin. Drives well. Good driver and passenger comfort. The automatic gearbox is a dream. More powerful than most campervans. It has that large car feeling of stability at any speed. It fits into most parking spaces and at 1.95m high, most multi storey car parks. An excellent turning circle. I am perfectly happy using it as an everyday car.
