My cherished Mercedes W123 saloon in a beautiful lustrous gold which I have owned for over 11 years and which has been restored to a very high standard to enable it to be used all year round, the underbody and rear subframe has been sandblasted back to bare metal and then powder coated to provide the best available corrosion protection the interior has been carefully restored using as much of the original parts and materials as possible.
Bodywork restoration was carried out by Rees Bros and all mechanical restoration has been carried out be Steve Redfern Mercedes and Colin Ferns Classic cars Ltd.
I have photos, receipts and invoices for all the work which has been carried out since it was first delivered up to and including the 11 years of my ownership everything electrical works perfectly including an extremely warm heating system and electric sunroof.
This car has power steering, ABS brakes, electric windows & mirrors, central locking, automatic gearbox and a 2.3 litre fuel injected petrol engine which makes it ideal for every day use.
I have an agreed valuation of 15,000 which cost me 150 annually.
I have the original order form which the first owner completed when they first ordered the car in 1884 along with the factory build card and pre-delivery checklist sheet along with a A4 file containing all the history for this fabulous car.
The car in recent years has done very little mileage so it now needs to go to a custodian who will ensure this vehicle is looked after and enjoyed in the years to come.
It has a Thatcham geo tracker fitted and being a member of the Mercedes Classic car club ensures that you have all the spare parts you require along with any technical assistance/information that you may require.
This car was designed to be maintained very easily so all minor maintenance issues can be dealt with a decent toolbox and spanner kit.
