The standard clutch is the achilles heel of this platform. With most owners reporting clutch slip early in the clutch life. Having carried out extensive research I opted for a full genuine O.E TTRS clutch setup, guaranteeing reliability and a standard OEM pedal feel. The full setup (Sachs DM Flywheel, slave cylinder, Elring main rear oil seal, oil and filter change), was carried out by Decimal Tenths. They also identified the rear Mag Ride shockers were leaking so I opted to fully replace them with genuine Audi Mag ride units, this was at a cost of 900 alone! The total for all work was 2820. (with proof) The car has done just over 1000 gentle miles since. It's a wonderful car to drive. Everything feels nice and tight. Other than the clutch, the entire remainder of the car is totally stock. Even the exhaust trims.
