My car is a 2004 model, in 'Sprint Blue', sporting the fetching, blue-chequered upholstery, black 'carbon' bodykit, and the rugged and dependable 1.4 TDi engine. Aside from having the full service history of the car from new (available to view at 29adventures.uk/audia2sale) in my ownership it's had an OEM-parts cruise control installed; it's had a bluetooth module added to the Concert 2 sound system which provides seamless music and GoogleMaps connectivity with a phone; and a gentle re-map from Stealth Racing to raise its power to 105bhp, an increase of 30%. With a correspondingly similar increase in torque, this terrific lightweight car now has susbstantially improved 'grunt' making it a pleasure to drive easily keeping up with city traffic but also for quiet, effortless cruising long-distance. Astonishingly, this appears to have also improved the already brilliant fuel economy: for example, with the cruise control set at 2600rpm - giving just over 70mph - this car regularly returns well over 60mpg on a run. The Storm version also included variant-specific 17", 9-spoke alloys, which are all in pretty good condition on my car, and has had black Audi centre caps recently re-fitted which are becoming increasingly difficult to acquire. Premium Vredstien Ultrac tyres were also recently fitted to all four corners (Nov 24) which now gives a great, quiet ride and superior grip especially in the wet. As can be seen from the photos, the interior is very clean, no tears or stains on the upholstery, headlining edges have been retrimmed recently and the car has a new set of blue-trimmed floor mats. These A2s are increasingly hard to find in good, looked-after condition and will surely appreciate in value over time. Invest now, by buying mine!
