2005 x5 e53 4.8is. Facelift model with Six speed auto box with sport and manual settings. Finished in carbon black and looking great having had a professional wash, valet and detail yesterday. Mot done a couple of weeks ago so practically a full 12 months. Lower tax bracket being pre 2006. Lpg system professionally fitted with all paperwork. Runs perfect on lpg or petrol. Higher mileage but very well looked after with a stack of receipts. Over 3000 spent in my ownership (2 years) with receipts. Xtrons audio system with apple car play, android auto, reverse camera etc. I am the third owner. Previous owner was for around 13 years and used as a business vehicle hence higher (motorway) miles and lpg conversion. New rear tyres last year, less than a thousand miles ago. Fronts have plenty of life too. Mileage will go up slightly as still in use. Only selling due to change of circumstances. I did plan on keeping this car for a long time and have spent a lot of cash on it as necessary. My plan was for it to be a long-term investment . If you've read this far you probably know a bit about these already. Very rare car, the first proper performance x5 and in my opinion a guaranteed future classic. Being the later version it's the bigger engine and better, stronger 6 speed 'box. Will easily do low 20's mpg on a run and cruises lovely at 70mph. Running on lpg is around a third of the cost so equates to mid 30's. Absolutely fine to run on petrol though as well which is what I've nearly always done. (Nearest lpg garage to me is about half hour away as I live in the sticks) THINGS THAT NEED ADRESSING STILL... Wheels could do with a refurb. Lights would benefit from a sand and Polish. Was going to do this but never got around to it. Small bit of surface rust on bottom of tailgate (pictured) Few stone chips on bonnet. Scratch on rear bumper (pictured) Few age related marks here and there. SUMMARY.... Overall a very good example of this rare car. Wears its age and mileage very well.
