Description
I have been um-ing and ah-ing about listing this car for sale for quite some time now, to that end I have decided to list it for 2 weeks and if it doesn't sell I'll take it as a sign that I should keep it!!!
The back story to the car is that it was built for the UM, however as soon as it arrived and before it was registered it was immediately purchased by a chap in Guernsey who decided to register it there. It pottered around the island with its maximum speed limit of 40mph for the majority of its life before it was brought over to the mainland by a specialist a couple of years ago. It was then used by an another gent for a year before I got hold of it last year. That means it sits in a slightly grey import category, as while it was and always has been a UK car, it has been registered in the Channel Islands prior to its registration on the mainland a couple of years ago.
I have all the paperwork including the original factory spec sheet which identifies it as an Alfa Romeo 4C UK.
I think red is the best colour for these cars and it's addictive to drive. I get numerous comments wherever I go as well as people constantly taking the cars picture.
I really don't want to part with the car but I have several expensive hobbies and I just don't drive the car enough to justify it sitting about all year! I'd much rather it goes to someone with a passion for cars rather than to trade.
The car does not have the Alfaholics handling modification as many of them do, and it last had a cambelt and bolt tighten last year meaning it'll be another year before this next needs doing.
