Description
Here I have for sale my completely rebuilt MK5 GOLF GTI.
In my ownership the car suffered the dreaded balance shaft wheel bolt snapped causing the engine to starve of oil and damaging all the internals ie spun bearing on crankshaft, scored camshafts and more.
Long story short I could have just gone out and purchased a complete second hand engine but I decided against it as I wouldn't be able to guarantee the longevity of the engine.
As this was my daily I wanted a strong stress free engine and being in the motor-trade I went and overhauled everything.

As you can see the list goes on there may have other stuff if I remember I will update it, but literally a complete overhaul.
I have pictures and receipts for literally everything, pictures before during and after build as proof which I can share with the new owner.
Sadly with insurance prices and road tax prices going up I can not afford to run 2 cars anymore as I also have a mk7 golf R so one of them has to go and sadly it's the mk5 GTI.
General condition of body is good considering the age of the vehicle has the normal mk5 slight rust on front arch's and under rear tailgate badge and small areas of lacquer peel on rear quarter.
Car benefits from a full leather interior
Flat bottom steering
Fully working air conditioning
USB, aux cd stereo
