Abarth 595 - Honest Sale, Low Mileage, Drives Great.
I bought this car last year without viewing it and wasn't disappointed, I got it delivered to me in London, with a 6-month warranty (just expiring), and I've driven it with a smile.
When I got it:
- It Looked as it does in the last photo
-White mirrors and front splitter
- Abarth side stickers, with big white Abarth lettering on the front grille
- Carbon/plastic covers on the door handles, boot lid, badges, you name it, it was covered in it
- Straight through Magneti Marelli rear box (see photo on kitchen worktop)
- Bola alloys with spacers (as seen in pictures)
I like original and so hated the look, and I wanted to bring it back to standard as a bit of fun.
What I've done:
- Removed all aftermarket parts and sold them
- Fitted virtually new standard alloys with Pirelli P Zeros (6 months use now) but pictures are current
- Fitted an expensive, used, but tidy Monza quad pipe back box with working mechanical valve (Still makes you smile but more comfortable for a 40+ year old)
-Mirrors and splitter professionally wrapped black by Polimax (white originals underneath, still in good condition)
- Oil changed
- Replaced rear boot switch (common issue)
- Cleaned and checked brakes (they were squeaky)
- Greased/free'd Monza exhaust valve after winter
- Removed 70th anniversary side badges (not a fan, also seen on it in pic)
- Replaced cracked door card with a new matching one
- Replaced boot strut (clip)
Other info:
Two keys (original blue + one remote)
Serviced when I bought it (receipt included), plus the oil change I did, receipt inc
Lifetime air filter fitted before I got it
Mileage matches age, condition, and MOT history
HPI check available from when I bought it
Cat S - previously had a rear offside scrape and suspension damage in 22 (COVID write off). No pics of the damage, but its a solid repair and good paint job. I'm fussy.
Couple of minor scratches not able to photograph and small kerb marks on wheels nothing major, just being picky. I have polished it and detailed bodywork a lot. There is a minor stone chip I noticed on passenger side windscreen. I'll get this injected (it's tiny.)
Everything works as it should.
I need cruise control for long trips between London and North Wales. Economical too.
Happy to answer any questions. I've spent more than I'll get back. Car is as seen. The garage I bought it from were great and you're welcome to contact them.
