Description

Reluctantly Selling - My Beloved Blue Beauty This has genuinely been the best car I've ever owned, and I'll be really sad to see it go. It's finished in what I think is the best colourdeep bluewith cream leather and a beautiful wood trim dashboard. Classic, understated, and just the right amount of luxury. I'm the third owner and have had the car since November 2012. In that time, it's mostly lived its life on the motorway, averaging around 19,000 miles per year. It's been pampered, never taken through a car wash, and there isn't a single door dent to be found. It's still incredibly tightno squeaks, no rattles, everything works just as it should. Some of the features and highlights: Soft-close doors (one of my favourite features) Panoramic roof Voice-activated controls Lane assist MOT until end of March 2026 Recent maintenance and care (all completed with attention to detail): Gearbox service (oil, sleeves, sump pan - done every 100k, still shifts like new) Propshaft doughnut replaced Front brake pads Auxiliary belts All tyres matched and sitting at 6-7mm tread DPF professionally removed and cleaned Oil changed (always Castrol Edge long life - next change in 19,000 miles) Air and pollen filters replaced Rear wheel bearing replaced All vacuum hoses replaced with silicone Swirl flaps intact (not blanked) AC re-gassed this year With 322,000 miles on the clock, this car is living proof of how well these engines perform with proper care. You'll find lower mileage examples, but few as lovingly maintained and solid as this one. These cars thrive on long journeys and reward you if you treat them rightregular servicing, quality oil, and a bit of mechanical sympathy. I'm only parting ways because my son gifted me his 435i and I no longer cover the miles I used to. Otherwise, I'd keep this without a second thought. Thanks for lookingand if you're the kind of person who appreciates a well-kept classic, maybe you'll be the one to take it to 500,000 miles. Cheers, Paul
