Description

Peugeot 308, 1.6 THP (156PS), second owner. Excellent service history and great mechanical condition. Overall good cosmetic condition with some minor chips and defects reflecting daily use and age of the car. I got this car in November 2023, after months of searching for the right condition and spec. I used it to drive across Europe with my 6months old daughter - perfect mechanical condition was, and still is, imperative. There was only one previous owner, a GP, and he kept servicing the car every year which and I continued on that interval (last service in October 2024, all previous records present). The car has never skipped a beat. I fitted it with a set of premium all-weather tyres (Goodyear Vector 4seasons, 400 quid) in December 2023, still in good nick, providing great traction on dry, wet, and snow. Brakes still fresh, changed late 2023, had them checked recently due to some squeeks - no concerns. The car is in Feline spec which brings some very nice features like sporty alcantara seats or a massive panoramic roof with an electric blind which makes the interior brings some much light and comfort (especially for the passengers). The engine, in my opinion, is a sweet spot between performance, refinement and economy. Being a turbocharged petrol, it delivers plenty of torque for smooth and swift drive. Realistic MPG within 30-40 range. Due to the rigorous yearly service (crucial for THP engines!) it shows no signs of issues. From weak points, as mentioned above, the car has some cosmetic imperfections - small chips and dents thanks to courtesy of fellow supermarket customers. There's a longer scratch under rear door handle and the wheels have some small scratches as well. In all, nothing major that would affect the joy of driving, and it takes a closer look to actually spot it. I would be happy to continue using this car for many years to come if not for expansion of my family driving a demand for something bigger.
