VW Transporter Shuttle 5.1 SWB Covered 140,000 miles, good condition, reliable 8-seater van. Has Triple Bench seat in the rear, Twin and Single in the middle and two Captain's chairs in the front. Has been used for family holidays and shows some scratches and wear that you'd expect from a 15-year old van, but has reliably taken us to the South of France, Norway, Denmark and more! Has been regularly serviced and maintained throughout our ownership, with nearly all of the 'big' Transporter jobs done with new parts including Intercooler, DPF, all stainless Exhaust replaced within the past few years. Some small mods have been done to the van, including a towbar, roof rails, spoiler, some decals and chrome add-ons. Van comes with shades for the windows (thermal, stick on) and a cot bed frame that goes across the front seats to allow for a child to sleep there. Small ding to the O/S sills has resulted in two small areas of rust damage - thanks to a mechanic in Finland. This can be pulled out and touched up by any competent body shop. There's also a small ding in the front O/S wing, which could be replaced but hasn't really bothered us that much. Some signs of wear on the driver's seat squab.Van has been priced accordingly for this. Runs well, pulls well and the DSG Gearbox functions as it should. Has been an amazing family vehicle for the past few years, allowing us to travel all over the UK and Europe and have some adventurous family holidays for a number of years. The space in the van is fantastic, with the rear seat out it will easily swallow a few bikes, skateboards, bags and more with room to spare! Unfortunately, the kids have now got too big to sleep in the van, so we are now looking to find it a new home.
