Bought in 2017 (with 32000 miles and 1 owner) and used daily until recently, which means it doesn't have many of the problems that "summer-only" cars can have. Lovingly maintained by Porsche specialists Zentrum. Genuine car which I have never thrashed and has never let me down. Handles beautifully with enough performance to sometimes scare you just a little. Very economical if you choose to drive it that way! The battery recently gave up after 25 years and the new one has 3 year warranty. A couple of years ago the exhaust was replaced with a stainless steel one, which has a slightly sporty note but is not noisy and doesn't boom at motorway speeds. It should last quite a long time. The car drives beautifully, with a very tidy interior, good roof. Body has a few age related blemishes (bonnet stone chips and alloys tidy but will need refurbishing again). If you want a solid, honest, reliable Boxster with a nice 986 number thrown in, that will last another 10 years without major work then this is worth looking at. Everyone I know is questioning why I'm selling it but it is our second car, and it's not practical for transporting grand kids and dogs! (I'm still not sure..)
