Description
Looking for a true driver's car with serious potential? I'm selling my amazing 350Z - becoming a rare classic with only 49,000 miles on the clock! Just had a fresh 12 month MOT. The car is a UK supplied car with optional extras being the GT Pack and the Alezan Orange leather interior. Has the DE engine meaning this falls into the lower tax band.
Purchased as a bit of a small project in early 2022 by my dad (retired mechanic) and myself. Idea was to keep him busy during retirement. Unfortunately, he passed away in 2023 and whilst I'd love to complete it, I simply do not have the knowledge to do so. Before he passed though he managed to get a whole load done. With a wife and a kid, I simply do not use the Z enough so it'd be good to see it go somewhere where it'll actually be driven rather than stored.
Mechanically the car is on point - as expected for a car that has only covered 49k. Started after 4 months of winter hibernation on its first key turn with no issues. The timing chain & gaskets have recently been done which is a common failing point. My dad removed any rust, treated and fully undersealed the bottom of the car before he passed. There were some age related fixes that have been coming up on the MOT such as brake hoses, tyres and coils but nothing too expensive.
Outside the car is in good overall condition, but being 20+ years old, it does have some cosmetic blemishes. A couple of dents and rust starting to show on the rear arches, so it could benefit from some light bodywork. A good polish really does bring the paintwork out. That said, it's a perfect candidate for a tidy-up or a clean base for a project build, which is the reason we purchased it.
Inside the interior benefits from the upgraded Alezan Orange leather pack which is becoming very rare indeed. It's in great condition and the electric and heated seats work perfectly. The stock stereo has been upgraded to a JVC touchscreen with Apply CarPlay/Android Auto, wired perfectly to pump the BOSE speaker system with subwoofer to perfection. I still have the original should the purchaser want to swap back. The centre console has been restored and looks brand new. The boot has the original carpet plus the upgraded one with the 350z logo.
Whether you're after a weekend cruiser, a base for a drift/track build, or just a raw RWD experience, this Z has plenty to offer. I'll be sad to see it go, but would love someone to actually make use of it more than I do.
