Description

If you're looking at this then you know all about the DC2. This was purchased by me in 2003, I was the third owner. I had to work abroad for a good lenght of time so my brother registered the car in his name and looked after it for a year until I came back. I'm asking a good price for the car as I believe its worth it. Its been dry stored the whole time I've owned it. The previous two owners also had it garaged. No body work or restorative work has been carried out to this car since I've owned it for the last 22 years. It starts on the third turn of the engine every time. No matter if its been laid up for a few months over winter or out for a drive in the summer. I stopped driving it in the rain over ten years ago. I have the original exhaust, complete. The Hytech exhaust fitted was purchased directly by me from John and imported. The Mugan CAI was imported by myself again from Japan. They are both excellent upgrades and do the car justice adding to the lower down torque that this engine struggles with. It was John at Hytech who suggested the manifold design to increase this and not go for the all out BHP gains of the racing manifold. I've the original OEM air intake box complete. And a spare LHS and RHS door mirror as the ones on the car have a small amount of damage on them. I've never got around to fitting them, kids came along a life got busy pretty quickly. I started off crazy keen on keeping up service history until a Honda garage made a real mess of the brakes. I've been using specialist garages since with regular oil changes despite the low annual milage. Cam belt was changed a few years back, its a least the second one I've had fitted. Lots of history including the original bill of sale, the PDI and original sales brouchures. Its not mint. Its 27years old. I've looked after it and its wanted for nothing. Time to pass the baton on here and keep this rare and exciting car going for the next 25years plus.
