Description

Automatic Elgrand campervan conversion in great condition. Lovely to drive, whether in 2- or 4-wheel-drive modes, on motorways, autoroutes, autostrade or Autobahn, through B-road Britain or down unbeaten tracks and across fields to little gems of campsites. Even in traffic jams and inner cities. Easy to manoeuvre and park (with handy reverse and offside cameras and proximity sensors to help out in tight spaces). Very comfortable driving position with electric-adjusting driver's seat and arm rest. Driver and passenger seats are heated, and the aircon works really effectively. Fine for backseat passengers too, even on long journeys. Apparently has the same engine as some Nissan sports car or other, so attracts admiring comments from racier types. Easy and quick to set up for a night's stay with a supportive rock-and-roll bed, and a practical pop-top that can sleep an extra person, or give plenty of headroom, fresh air and light (windows or LED lights) while your tall chef cooks for you on the two-ring gas hob or does the washing up in the built-in sink. The hob's gas canister is accessible from the back. Storage is good with a number of built-in cupboards for cooking supplies and clothes, and a large space under the seat/bed. Electric sliding doors a godsend. Brand new battery: starts first time. Ready to connect to electric hookups... or the leisure battery powers two UK plug sockets (both with USB ports), the built-in fridge-freezer (which is verrrrry small), and USB-A and USB-C ports that are just about close enough to be used from the front seats while navigating using a phone. Has fold-down (or take-off) table, rotatable passenger seat, ladder and roof boards, internal lighting, a DVD player (untested by us), and comes with a full set of insulating window covers. The blinds / curtains and cabin divider are very nicely made and easy to open and close, and the tinted windows themselves give quite a bit of privacy. Japanese import with original controls and system dialogs and messages offering fantastic language-learning opportunities! Purchased in July 2024 from in Morecambe. Since then only used for a few UK trips - dull things like work, responsibility and mortgages have got in the way of our life on the open road, and we've done less falling asleep to the soft patter of rain on the roof and waking up to the sight of dolphins off the Scottish coast than we hoped, so it's over to you to live that dream with this fantastic camper.
