Description

MUCH LOVED 2002 PEUGEOT PARTNER MICRO CAMPER Owned and used by me since November 2021 and only being sold due to ill health Full service History since Nov 2021, previously MOT certificates from 2013, includes: Mar '25 - OS Lower Ball joint & sensor replaced Feb 25 - Oil, Air & Fuel Filters July - 24 New steering rack, Exhaust May '24 - Handbrake Sept '24 - Drive Shaft Jan '24 Cambelt - 135,000miles Radiator replaced 90,000 miles Timing belt & water pump 78,000 miles Starts, runs and drives very well and does everything it should and nothing it shouldn't Gears engage without crunching or grinding. Myself and the previous 5 owner have looked after this little van well and if it has needed anything doing it has been done. Simple old fashioned 1.9 diesel engine - no turbo or dpf or dual mass flywheel. No clever electronics. Some cosmetic markings on bodywork due to age. Average 45mpg around town and 48 - 50 on long motorway journeys. INTERIOR: 2 Front seats. Bench seating along the nearside of the van converts to a comfortable bed in a few seconds. Bed 92 cms W x 192cms L and allows comfortable head height seating 4 LED spotlights in roof lining, 2 directional flex lights; over cooker/work surface and bed for nighttime reading. 2 USB ports, Aux 12volt cigarette type socket in living area Wicker baskets for food and utensil storage Plenty of other storage within the van - overhead in front of the cab a full width shelf, two side roof storage pockets in rear, main cabinet with 2 wicker baskets, waste bin, 12 volt powered cool box. Single burner gas stove All rear windows have matching curtains with netting overhead roof storage for night screening on forward windows - insulated. Specification - simple and efficient, with power steering, new CD player with USB port etc Nov 2021 The camping part of the van has full 12volt electrical system which runs from an independent leisure battery which is charged when the van is running via split charge system. This means you cannot flatten the vehicle battery when camping. However, due to ill health over the last 6 months my van has had very little use and the leisure battery may need replacing. I have loved this little van and it has been much appreciated and admired around the UK and France as a perfect vehicle for 1 person (+ dog) as a 'getaway vehicle' for short and longer breaks over the past 4 years. Only for sale due to ill health which means I can no longer manage a manual and have bought an automatic.
