This is the, reluctantly posted, advert for my Audi A4 B8 Avant Quattro 3.0TDI with the very rare manual gearbox. It has the 40:60 Torsen 4wd system, not electronic Haldex. I have had it for the last 6 years and no expense has been spared. There are 14 stamps in the service book and a large stack receipts that show the exceptional care this car has had. The same Audi specialist has been used over might ownership. As well as the routine maintenance, they have replaced or repaired anything that needed doing, hence the minimal advisories on the MOTs. Last year, it had new rear brakes, tyres, air con re-gas and a 5 year guarantee battery. In 2023, it had a full underbody de-rust and anti-corrosion paint treatment. Every year since, it's been topped up with additional treatment in any prone areas. Front brakes were done in 2022, as well as all gearbox and diff oil, which is too often forgotten about. Brand new pair of front arches in 2021 to get round the typical VAG corrosion. In 2020, it benefited from a full set of S-Line suspension springs and dampers (Eibach and Bilstein) that give it a very positive feel on the roads. The SE base suspension had a lot of float and softness. On a warm motorway driving day, you can achieve 55mpg and general driving I often average around 47mpg. This is very impressive for the car size, age and drivetrain performance. The clutch and gearbox feel excellent. The engine doesn't miss a beat. There is no blue smoke on or off throttle. A very useful factory tow bar is present and has only been used sporadically for a tiny trailer (no big caravans or anything!). It's been to the Alps and back several times and my usual commute is around 15 miles so minimal stop start journeys, with a lot of longer journeys in between. With the car, comes a set of Audi 17 wheels with winter tyres and a genuine set of A4 B8 low profile roof bars. A close friend is desperate to buy the car, so you will have to outbid them!
