Toyota LC5 Landcruiser. I've had this joyful beast of a 4x4 for around 3 years now and taken it on many camping holidays as well as day to day use. She has proven to be 100% dependable and with the 3.0 turbo diesel and auto box, great to drive. And being top spec has many creature comforts. During my ownership I've had the car serviced every year regardless of mileage as well as a few improvements. The air suspension was failing so it's been professionally converted to a conventional spring and damper arrangement and runs beautifully on the Falken all terrain tyres. The ABS and PAS systems have been overhauled and even the rusty sunroof has been replaced. The vehicle can seat 8 people but I'd say 3 of them should be little people, however they do prove useful for occasional use and both fold away and remove easily to leave a cavernous boot space in the back. The roof bars are rock solid and have been very useful in transporting kayaks over to the lakes. Great reliability and practicality and been a 2005 is in the lower road tax bracket. There are a few scuffs and dings but nothing untoward and the chassis is solid. If it's a reliable, go anywhere, large workhorse you're after this fits the bill perfectly. All enquiries welcome.
