It was bought by the second owner at circa 54000 miles where the owner instructed Ben at Rotary Revs to make all the correct modifications for long-term ownership. I have only made cosmetic improvements to the bodywork and wheels and Rotary Revs added a Petit Racing stainless steel cat back exhaust. (This makes the car sound as it should, not loud, just a nice rasp.) Ben and his team at Rotary Revs/MAP Motorsports have looked after the car all bar an air bag safety recall when Stoneacre Doncaster made the checks and updated the rear springs at the same time. The car was wax oiled annually and never driven in the rain or winter months. the tyres are like new and the wheels were powder coated at Scuff Medics prior to being sorn'd in October 2023. My son took ownership of the car in September 2023 for a full week. He realised that the car was not practical for the long football miles. I bought it back so he could buy a GTD Golf. The car shows 4 owners, but as you can see, its really been 2. If you are looking for a car that comes with the assurance that it has been very well looked after, then this car will not disappoint. The RX8 is on a trickle charge in a dehumidified heated garage and is currently sorn'd. The car will need to go to an enthusiast that will continue to look after the car for years to come. I will have an MOT put on the car in the next 2 weeks. Let me also dismiss the myth of poor starting and lots of engines oil. This is total rubbish, not a blip in 8 years, she sounds and runs like new.
