Description
The Car.
I am not a trader so cannot supply a warranty, hence the lower price. However, I have tried to future proof your car by replacing anything identified as needing work. Car serviced every year at MOT. All advisories actioned. I have a pile of receipts, including in the last 18 months ..
A full replacement, hand built, stainless steel exhaust system (800 pounds), 4 new tyres, heavy duty battery, front windscreen (wee crack after a stone chip), front discs and pads.
The only issue I haven't replaced is a fault in a circuit board causing the remote keys not to work. I was quoted well over 1k to replace the board which was damaged when the car was jump started by airport car park staff in 2018. A reliable local auto electrician wired the central locking to a switch on the dashboard so it still works. I have to manually use the key to lock/unlock the driver's door. The electrician confirmed no other damage was done and everything else on the board has worked since then.
The WAV conversion was serviced at Southport in 2023.
I added a cheap but effective DAB radio to VHS converter.
The bodywork is in great condition. The car is good to drive with the 6 speed box giving performance and good mpg. This is a basic family runaraound ..not many frills but reliable and does its job. Full tank of diesel included (around 500mls).
The Wilson Healy Conversion (Southport)
In my experience, the most practical family WAV in UK!
The ramp is stored underneath the wheelchair therefore you retain the full use of the 3 back seats (with ISOfix points) as well as the huge boot space.
The wheelchair user sits beside the driver using the normal seatbelt, making conversation easy. Also, a better ride for the user rather than sitting over the back axle.
I've used the Fiat on family holidays abroad, easily taking 4 adults, all their luggage, a shower chair ..and my golf clubs and trolley.
There is a winch fitted to help load the wheelchair but I've never needed to use it.
The normal disabled parking space is large enough to allow you to load the wheelchair.
Note that the very first car with this conversion (EV10WAV) is still MOT'd with over 110k miles on it. I owned that one before this car, so there are plenty years and miles still left on this one...
