Description

Renault Grand Scenic - 2007 1.5DCI 6 speed manual. Bad points first: - Small oil leak from front passenger side, on investigation looks like seeping from clip on oil cooler - literally just a couple of small drops left when parked over night, has been like it a few months. - After driving for approx 10 minutes, "Battery charge fault" appears on the multifunction display. This has done it ever since we brought it almost 2 years ago and 25,000 miles ago! Was checked by an auto electrician when first brought it who confirmed is a broken wire somewhere, charging system works absolutely fine and had a new battery October 2023 to replace the ORIGINAL OEM battery - we've done countless journeys upto 200 miles and never failed to start first push of the button. - Various dents and scratches as expected for age, and the usual Renault lacquer peel in places - I've shown the worst spots in photos. - Short MOT (4th July, just over 2 months) - only known issues are that the front tyres will definitely need replacing before then, tracking, and a knocking over bumps from the drivers side (Sounds like ball joints, only started a few weeks back!) - Air con needs a regas. We're had this car for nearly 2 years now and it's not let us down once - surprisingly cheap to run for it's size - cheap insurance, road tax is less than 20 a month and the current MPG on the display is 55mpg over 1800 miles. Cruise control and speed limiter are both working perfectly. Small 7 seater, boot seats fold into the floor and middle row can be unclipped and completely removed making a massive cargo area ideal for shifting bigger items, or probably even courier work! Original CD radio has been put back in, but I've left the DAB aerial if you want to fit your own stereo instead - easy 5 minutes job in this car, you don't need any adapters as the cage slots straight in and the wiring is the standard ISO fittings. Unfortunately no service history - when its needed repairs its just had them as it was our only vehicle. The smaller faults such as tyres, ball joint and oil leak would have been resolved at the next MOT but we've just brought a bigger car again due to needing the extra space. Viewing and test drive welcome - tax and insurance expires 30/04/2025 and will be SORN at that point. Test drive welcome, still insured and taxed until the end of the month, mileage will raise slightly from photos as still using until sold.
