Description
Note:2 history checks have come back clear, including auto traders own one...
For sale here we have a lovely little Corsa 1.4 which I've given a new lease of life by fully reconditioning the engine (I'm a professional engineer, but am not a car dealer), replacing other parts required and giving it a bit of a clean.
The car would have been scrapped by the previous owner after the engine badly overheated (common for vauxhalls) but its too nice to just chuck it away, so I hope it will find a new home and will serve someone well for years to come.
Insurance group 3 so should be pretty cheap and 35 per year tax.
This is the Energy Ecoflex version, it comes with heated seats, heated steering wheel and heated windscreen, air conditioning, city steering mode button, DAB Bluetooth Stereo with Carplay/Android Auto, tyre pressure sensors, height adjustable drivers seat, ISOFIX adaptors, the only thing it doesnt seem to have is parking sensors! Also has 2 keys.
As part of the repairs, the engine has been fully reconditioned, including a 0.5mm rebore (now 1417cc but no need to tell DVLA as still 1.4) and new pistons/rings, new valves, rockers and lifters, new bearings, gaskets and bolts and all the relevant machining as required.
It has a new water pump, thermostat, timing chain, new spark plugs, air filter, antifreeze, oil and filter too so has essentially had a full service.
It has a pair of new front coil springs as one was broken, a new clutch as it was fairly worn, and 4 new all-season tyres.
I've checked the rest of the car over and the brakes are only about 30% worn, rear springs are pretty new, and I cant see any other problems with the car.
Currently has no MOT but I'll get a fresh ticket on it when it sells so it'll have 12 months.
The bodywork is in very good condition, there are a couple of marks here and there but overall it looks in great condition.
Finally, full VHR has been carried out, and no problems with vehicle history found, VHR available on request.
Please let me know if you want to view the vehicle.
Kind Regards, Dan.
