This 1.4 supercharged engine is remarkably responsive and surprisingly economical both around town and on long trips. It drives like my old Golf GTI MK2, even in normal mode (there is a sport mode but I've never needed to use it). This is the 140bhp GT model which can be further remapped, but I kept it as factory spec.
