We bought it as a running project and its probably the best way to describe it. We've done a fair amount to it including; servicing, cambelt, waterpump, reconditioned the alternator, redone the brake pipes in copper, oil and filter. Mainly service items that were due and making sure the car was good to go whenever we wanted to use it. By previous owners it has had MTM tuning package uprating to 275hp, coil on plug conversion, samco Induction hose, full custom stainless exhuast which is quite soft and quiet but serves the 5 cylinder well, widebody pack, rs6 wheels and koni shocks alllround . The service history is quite extensive and has genuine Audi history too The main thing that let's the car down is the paintwork to be done perfectly this would need to be a full spray. The other thing being the auto box it has a slight clunk when going into 2nd gear. From the research we've done this is a common problem and can be remedied pretty easily. Unfortunately the gearbox shop we asked won't touch it due to age. All in all we loved having and driving this car it just doesn't get used all that much and it feels ashame to keep it whilst there is probably a few Audi fanatics who will love it properly.
