Bought this a couple years ago as a bit of a project and run around for when I was in the uk ( I mostly live in Australia ) and with a long term view to export over to Oz to use as the pub car ( seats 9 ) . The way the dollar is , i am at a cross roads to push on to the next level and then export it or let it go here in uk now I've lost my storage spot here . I paid 15k for the car , and have since about another 17k into her , including ; Major Service on arrival Replace tyres Replace battery Replace innner and outer sills Replace shock mounts Replace springs and shocks all around Repair and tidy battery box Repaint sills Repaint bumper trims etc Repaint roof ( it had been done badly ) Replace quarter bumper corner Replace steering wheel Replace clutch cylinder Replace steering box and rod ends ( drives like a totally different car now ) Repair electrical circuits/ glow relay Replace alternator Replace blower fan and resistor Replace / upgrade wiper spindles to stainless steel Replace wiper motor Replace saddle tank pipes ( it has the two extended range tanks ) It had a new gear box not long before I bought it . So left on MY jobs list is probably just to tidy the interior a bit , retrim front seats in matching dattel rodeo and have fun with a nine seating green over tan beast that attracts love everywhere it goes Firm 22k and I'll swallow the 10k loss for the fun I've had . Car can be viewed at the storage place for another week or so near Nantwich Cheshire before it heads to the docks !
