PLEASE NOTE - Car needs a new ECU and therefore is NOT running currently. Vehicle needs collecting and towing away. Engine was working fine until ECU went after I pressed the brake pedal hard to avoid a collision. A specialist diesel mechanic examined the engine at our local garage and says mechanical engine is in good order, but ECU failure caused electrical fault, so needs replacing. It's been a good family car for 4 years. MOT until Nov 2025 and well looked after. A bit of wear and tear typical with a car that's 16 years old. Too good to scrap. Vehicle can be fixed by buying and installing a new ECU and potentially last for several more years, but we have gone for an electric lease hire car now.
