When this vehicle came into stock I drove the car and realised after a few miles it has a slightly noisy gear box (common fault), so to prepare this vehicle for resale this would have to be addressed. Due to the rareness of these Fiat convertibles we decided to prepare it for resale and fitted a recon gear-box. While this was out we fitted a new clutch for good measure. We also fitted a new cam belt, water pump, tensioners, front disk pads and serviced it (changing all filters and oils). We also noticed the 2 front tyres were slightly worn on the edge so we replaced them. We sent it for an MOT at an independent garage and it passed with no advisories (we won't have advisories; it either passes or fails as far as we are concerned).
