Due to an expanding family I am selling my 1972 Mk4 Triumph Spitfire which I had originally bought in 2022 (after a respray) as a bit of a project and plaything. Since then I have spent over 3k at a specialist garage to bring it to where it is now; safe, reliable and fun to drive! Had service and MOT in May2025. Taken out for a spin a few times since to enjoy it before it sells. Stored in a dry garage, only driven on dry sunny days. Non-overdrive. Will cruise happily at 70mph on the motorway. Fires up straight away and after a couple miles of driving needs no choke. Never overheats, with the temperature gauge reading ~50%. Needs a bit of tidying up on the inside, have various parts/items which will be included in the sale (including a hardtop which was also resprayed). Aftermarket stainless steel dual-exhaust which sounds great and turns heads. Emergency kill switch under the dash linked to modern LED light, as well as the indicators being linked to a separate LED, both clearly visible when operating even in bright sunlight. Mechanically and electrically sound, however there is always room for improvement as we all know! I would recommend a speedo replacement as the it's a bit temperamental. Besides that the only outstanding work is cosmetic which can be resolved with cheap parts. Will post pictures of the interior shortly.
