This Triumph Stag is in good condition to say that it's 53 years old. It has had money spent on it for the past 20 years. I have the paperwork to proove the work that's been done. I have records showing the ownership back to 1972 when it was new. It has been regularly serviced and has only done ~5,000 miles since the last check up. I have only put 1,000miles on the clock in the last 3 years. It was a present for my 60th birthday but sadly, circumstances mean that it has to go. The Stag has the original 3.0l Triumph V8 engine and 4 speed & Overdrive gearbox. The engine was rebuilt at ~50,000miles. Everything that needs to be done mechanically has been undertaken. Electronic ignition, electric cooling fan & modded radiator, stainless exhaust, raised header tank, refurbished wheels & 4 new tyres just 400 miles ago. It's not perfect - no old car is. The hood will need replacing. It has seen better days and the frame needs a bit of repair. There is a hideous stick-on-fake dashboard kit that I've just started to replace with genuine veneer. The drivers door lock only works from the inside. It cost nothing in Road Tax. It doesn't need a MOT.
